ALIVE '05
ALIVE ’05 was Girlguiding Birmingham’s County Camp held at Walesby Forest in Nottinghamshire.  There were activities for everyone morning, afternoon and evening, including:
	a visit to Cresswell Crags to see the cave paintings . . .
. . . canoeing, rifle shooting, archery . . .
	camp skills including fire lighting and creating chocolate marshmallows . . .
giant jenga, a horizontal bungee . . .
	climbing, abseiling and a traversing wall . . .
handicrafts, raft building, steel drums . . .
	not forgetting the beauty therapy and well deserved foot bath.
One of the favourite evening activities was the ugly bug ball . . .
	costumes, dancing and fireworks added to the fun.
In spite of some wet weather, we all had a brilliant time!
